Brewing and Distilling MSc Project Scholarship Opportunities

We have four project scholarship opportunities in 2019.

Worshipful Company of Brewers
Value: additional funds (£500) to be spent on the project through analysis and consumables
Awarded: to the student who proposes the project that is most likely to make an impact on brewing or brewing science
Supervisor: the most appropriate supervisor from the ICBD staff will be identified to support the project once the successful scholar has been identified.

Project proposals should take into account that the period of time available for projects is 10 - 12 weeks, with 4 weeks for writing up. Worshipful Company of Distillers
Value: contribution to living expenses for the project (£1200) and additional funds (£300) to be spent on the project on items such as raw materials, analysis and consumables.
Awarded: to the student who proposes a research project with outcomes that must have the potential to have a tangible impact on the distilling industry. The application process will consider first semester exam results and the students' outline of a project proposal.
Supervisor: the most appropriate supervisor from the ICBD staff will be identified to support the project once the successful scholar has been identified.

Awarded: to the student who proposes the furthering of the project in the most interesting way. If there is enough interest students may be interviewed before a final decision is made.
