Development of Remote Controller for Solar Thermal Devices efficiency optimisation: SolarisKit Flat Pack Solar Panel

SolarisKit is a high-growth SME who have developed a flat-pack solar thermal collectors for low-cost heating systems. This project will see the development of a remote low-cost controller (e.g. Arduino) to optimise the operation of the collector (e.g. control the pump activation and duty cycle via PWM signal based on temperature rise across the collector) to improve the overall operating performance. In addition, the controller should include IoT functionality to be monitored remotely and include a bespoke control algorithm with AI optimised for the collector.
