Modelling of programmable soft actuators

In this project, the idea is to use FEA simulation to propose new mechanical designs (e.g., anisotropic behaviour of materials) to develop soft actuators capable of shape-programmable actuation. Such a soft actuator will have potential applications in robotics and medicine.
