Surface and Motion Tracking and Modelling for Biomechanical and Clinical Applications

This project aims to use camera tracking techniques to reconstruct, in a real-time manner, the motion (and deformation) of a surface/volume, for applications of biomechanics and those of clinical interest.

The potential areas include facial tracking for clinical condition monitoring, jaw tracking for surgical planning and gait tracking for pressure garment design. All possible routes will have strong support from our clinical collaborators.
