Sustainable Cold Chain from LNG regasification sites

Cold chain is vital to the functioning of modern society, particularly in fast-growing economies where cold demand is booming. Our global energy demand for space cooling will overtake space heating by 2060, while the lack of adequate cold chains causes 2 million vaccine-preventable deaths each year, and 200 million tonnes of waste food. This project focuses on using the cold from international LNG regasification sites to study the technical feasibility of capturing waste cold from regasification of LNG.
