A technoeconomic assessment for rock crushing CO2 mineralisation systems

The reaction of rocks with CO2 has been proposed as an exciting new method of helping to prevent climate change. Key to all of the proposals is a fundamental understanding of the energy and cost requirements of creating small particles of rock. This project will explore, through numerical modelling/calculations, the energy and carbon balances and costs associated with mineral comminution.
