MSc projects EPS 2020/21

On this site you can search and view a list of MSc projects and research topics, and read more detail about individual projects by clicking on the project name.

When you are ready to make your choices, you can use the student choices form to submit your preferences. See the searchable list of MSc projects or use the links below to view projects associated with each MSc programmes.

The student choices form will be available until Friday 15 January 2020. You must make your project selections by then.  You do not need to login to use this form.

When accessing the web site, sort by your MSc/PGDip programme to see available project supervisors – each supervisor has provided a short description of the types of projects they supervise, and you can indicate preference for a supervisor whose interests align with your own. Ensure to enter multiple supervisors with whom you are happy to work, depending on demand, your first choice may not always be available.

If there is a specific area of research that is of interest to you, please feel free to propose a project idea. Although we cannot guarantee that the project will go ahead unaltered, we are certainly happy to work with you to craft something of interest that fulfils the required learning outcomes of your MSc program

For PGDip students, even if you do not wish to progress to MSc, please indicate preference for a supervisor. A project supervisor is still necessary for the semester two taught mandatory course, B81EZ.

For part-time students, if you intend to complete either B81EZ or B91RS this year, please also complete the process of selecting a supervisor, otherwise this is not yet necessary.

Please your supervisor preferences form before 15th January 2021.

Please note, in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the University and School have decided to suspend laboratory and the use of any equipment on the campus projects this year. I am sure that this decision is disappointing for some of you but, it is a decision made with your health and safety in mind.
