This event, which has been organised with the IPaQS Early Career Forum, will take the form of a Q&A session with mid-/ early-career researchers who are currently pursuing a career in industry.

Please do come along.....

This is your chance to listen to how they got to where they are now, to find out where they plan on going next and how they plan to get there. This is your chance to gain information, from those only slightly further ahead in their careers, that can help you choose how to utilise the experience and qualifications you have gained while in IPaQS. This event is intended to help you get where you want to be next!!

The meeting will start at 14:30 in DB114, and there will be coffee and tea at 15:30, during which you can ask the panel questions on a one-to-one basis.

The Q&A panel will consist of:

Dr Christopher Leburn – Managing Director of Chromacity – Ph.D in laser physics from Univ. of St Andrews

Dr Sara Pellegrini – Image Sensor Electro-Optical Characterisation Engineer – Ph.D in photonics from HWU.

Dr Ian Elder – Lead Laser Engineer at Leonardo – Ph.D in laser physics from Univ. of Strathclyde.

Dr Ian Thomson – Principal Engineer at Renishaw – Ph.D in laser physics from HWU.

Please have a think of potential questions you might like to ask.
