Synopsis: 

The conventional wave generators are large, expensive, and unable to efficiently generate electric power with small amplitude waves, limiting their widespread usage. To solve these problems, we will discusses the possibilities for a wave power generator using dielectric elastomer (DE) artificial muscle.

Biography: 

Prof. Seiki Chiba is the CEO and Professor, Chiba Science Institute. His research interest includes Artificial muscle actuators & generators, hydrogen safety ,high temperature membranes for hydrogen production. Computer simulation, micromachine, catalysis, fuel cells, conductive materials, R&D Management, artificial muscle actuators, high temperature membranes for hydrogen production, renewable energy, wave power generation etc.
