Synopsis:

The arbitrary and independent shaping of several spatial modes of light cannot be performed using usual wavefront shaping tools. The multi-plane light conversion (MPLC) technology allows to perform spatial mode multiplexing.
In the first part of my presentation, I will present a theoretical and numerical study of the statistical transport properties of the MPLC tool. In a second part, I will show how independent spatial mode shaping can be used to measure or modify spatial parameters of the electromagnetic field
