Location:

Speaker:
Dr Junaid Syed
Affiliation:
Curvalux
Synopsis:

The seminar will start from the basic Shannon Communication theory and then will move to modern mobile communications and a bridge will be made. The trends including use of higher frequencies, wider channel, use of complex modulation schemes, new antenna designs, interoperability will be discussed. Different techniques , being used to improve spatial efficiency including MIMO and Phase array antennas will also be presented. As use cases, typical technologies for mobile and Fixed wireless access will also be addressed.
