Synopsis:
Daniel Mullen will provide an overview of SSE’s ongoing efforts to decarbonise the UK power grid through their ambitious, low-carbon and flexible power generation projects while simultaneously supporting emerging R&D projects.
Biography:
Daniel Mullen trained as a mechanical engineer in Galway Ireland, and now works as a low carbon technology engineer within SSE thermal while concurrently completing a PhD in CCS at the University of Edinburgh. His role primarily focuses on technology assessment for the commercial deployment of CCS technology and managing SSEs involvement in R&D projects.
