Dr Richard Mosses from Glasgow will introduce the Photonics & Quantum Accelerator (PQA) and the first call for applications. The briefing will be held in DB113 at 11am on Friday 17th May, after coffee & donuts.
The PQA is a £4.7M Place Based Impact Acceleration Account funded by UKRI via the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC).
PQA brings together researchers from the Universities of Glasgow, Heriot-Watt, St Andrews and Strathclyde, and a number of local authorities and industry bodies to advance the growth of the photonics sector in Scotland’s Central Belt.
The PQA will hold regular calls for funding impact acceleration projects, run STEM-based public engagement events, and support growth of photonics skills.
