Health and Care Innovation Conference for Early Career Researchers, hosted by the Global Research Institute in Health and Care Technologies. This exciting event will bring together Early Career Researchers across the University to share and discuss recent research on topics related to the health and care arena.

Call for Abstracts:

We are inviting abstracts for oral presentations and posters from Heriot-Watt Early Career Researchers (PhD students, Postdoctoral researchers, Research Fellows, and new Lecturers) in the following categories:

• Psychology, Languages, and Wellbeing
• Humanities subjects related to Health and Care
• Economics, Marketing, and Supply Chain Management
• Sport Sciences
• Wearable Devices and Home Monitoring Technologies
• Diagnostics and Therapeutics
• Apps and Telemedicine
• Artificial Intelligence (e.g., Personalized Medicine, Drug Discovery, Medical Imaging)
• Augmented Reality
• Medical Devices and 3D Bioprinting
• Medical Robotics
• Decarbonisation Solutions for the Medical Sector
• Other Health and Care Topics

ECR Prize:
An awards committee will review both oral and poster presentations and select prize winners. The recipients will be awarded a certificate and cash prize.

• Oral Only
• Poster Only
• Oral or Poster Acceptable (committee will consider your preference but may assign the paper as either oral or poster)
