You may be aware that HWU has implemented an active research culture programme over the last 2.5 years. Have you had the opportunity to engage with this programme? It is for everybody, so this presentation will give a brief overview of the core principles in fostering an inclusive research culture, introduce the HWU research culture action plan and lead a discussion on how you can also be involved in promoting a positive research culture.
Professor Jemina Napier is Associate Principal for Research Culture & People for HWU. Her remit in this role is to be the academic lead for the university in developing the university’s research culture strategy and action plan, and overseeing the implementation of the plan. She was previously the Director of Research of SoSS, and before that the Head of Dept of Languages & Intercultural Studies. She is currently Deputy PI on the UKRI funded EDI Caucus.
