Synopsis: 

In my work, I examine how aesthetics influences robotics in ways that have not been previously recognised. I argue that this relationship challenges prevailing conceptions of aesthetics, prompting a reconsideration of how robots are envisioned, developed, and integrated into society.

Biography: 

Alexandre Colle is a robotics entrepreneur, researcher and designer, founder and CEO of Konpanion, a UK-based company developing human-centered robotic and sensing technologies for health and well-being. With an entrepreneurial background in fashion, luxury, and hospitality, and a PhD in robotics from Heriot Watt / University of Edinburgh, Alexandre’s work focuses on the aesthetic and commercial integration of companion robots into daily life, bridging technology, social care, and design to create elegant but meaningful, empathetic automation.
