The Global Research Institute in Health and Care Technologies is delighted to invite you to the ninth seminar in the Early Career Researcher (ECR) Seminar Series! This will be the final seminar in this series ahead of a break over summer, with sessions planned to re-commence in September.

For this session, we will have 2 speakers: Marcin Sikorski, Postgraduate Research Student from the School of Engineering and Physical Sciences and Marta Vallejo, Associate Professor from the School of Mathematics and computer Science.

This session will cover Marcin’s talk “Implementation of synchrotron X-ray radiation microtomography (SRμCT) to study fracture of cortical bone” and a talk from Marta titled “Artificial Intelligence for ALS: From Pathology Images to Clinically Meaningful Biomarkers”

These sessions will run from 1pm to 2pm in EMG80 (Health and Care Collaborative Space, Hybrid option available). Dates for sessions commencing in September are TBC.
