Synopsis:

In order to realize a low-carbon future, solar photovoltaics are frequently regarded as a promising large-scale supply option. Nowadays, over 80% of solar cells in the world were made by crystalline Si. The mature technology of the industrial automatically production process makes the market production expand rapidly during the past ten years. This knowledge is very valuable and helpful for the next generation solar cells that have the potential to be fabricated in lower cost to compete the general electricity price. One of the best choices is dye-sensitized solar cell, who is stable, suitable for the large scale, and roll-to-roll production.
In this presentation, I would like to showcase the in-line industrial Si solar cells production process. And moreover, I will also introduce the development and the future research on dye-sensitized solar cell.
