From concept to company

Fri, 19/02/2016 - 12:00 to 13:00

Location:

Speaker:
Robert Goodfellow
Affiliation:
HW Research and Enterprise
Synopsis:

A short seminar from Robert Goodfellow of HWU Research & Enterprise services about what support is offered across HWU to protect, grow and commercialise your research ideas. The session will cover IPR basics, funding and developing your idea towards a business and will be supported with case examples from HWU spinout companies such as SeeByte, Hydrason and others. Attendees will leave with a better knowledge of “how to” commercialise their research.

This is a regular series for ISSS PhDs/RAs to present information about what we do in an informal setting and to hear about something ‘a bit different’. Suggested topics for the 'bit different' talk are always welcome, as are volunteers for the technical talk.

Please try to indicate intended attendance to r.h.baxter@hw.ac.uk by 12-noon Wednesday (17th) for catering purposes.
