System Level RF Tests Using NI Testbed

Synopsis:
By using the NI testbed, some important RF tests have been carried out, measurement results demonstrate the high flexibility and reasonable accuracy of the testbed. Benefit from the Software Defined Radio technology of the testbed, some novel system level RF tests are also carried out. In this presentation, we will show these test results, and discuss the future development of this research topic.
Biography:
Yu Fu was born in Shandong, China. He received his Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Technology from Huaqiao University , Fujian, China, in 2009, the MSc degree in Information Technology (Mobile Communications) from Heriot-Watt University, U.K. in 2010 and the Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering at Heriot-Watt University, U.K. in 2015. Since Oct. 2015, he has been a Research Associate with the Microwave Research Group, Heriot-Watt University. His main research interests include system level RF test, B4G communication technologies and advanced wireless MIMO channel modeling and simulation.
