Cyber Security in the Quantum Era and the Quantum Cloud Vision

The accuracy in controlling quantum systems has reached a new level and the quantum technological revolution is already happening. One of the fields that is expected to be directly affected (potentially dramatically) by these new technologies, is that of cyber security. I will give an introduction of how the field will be affected and which are the dangers and opportunities. I will clarify typical misconceptions about quantum computation and cryptography and then focus on the prospect of developing secure cloud quantum computing, its applications and some recent progress.
