Navigating Beyond the Thesis: Exploring Career Horizons for Postgraduate Students

Dr Joanne Holmes obtained her PhD in Electrochemistry from Cranfield University in 2011. However, her work experience predates this qualification and demonstrates how to ensure that you never close your mind to any opportunities. Joanne has worked in Industry, Academia and Commercialisation and Sales where her current role is Global Sales Manager at iGii. During the presentation, Joanne, will talk through her career choices/progression and highlight how different options can present themselves and advise on always keeping an open mind. Hopefully this talk will provide some insight into the different options available to you as your education progresses.
