Manufacturing errors can affect the production yield of microwave components such as frequency diplexers: especially in the mm wave part of the spectrum where current fabrication tolerances are comparable to key circuit dimensions. It is desirable to relax the circuits sensitivity to these errors so that the fabrication tolerance can be relaxed, improving production yield and speeding up the fabrication process. In this talk, design considerations for rectangular waveguide diplexer circuits will be discussed which allow for fabrication tolerances to be relaxed
