Synopsis:
MR Elastography (MRE) non-invasively measures viscoelastic properties of in vivo tissue, making it uniquely sensitive to geometric alterations in cellular microstructure. This talk will cover the current transition in MRE from single-value results to elastographic maps, highlight the most promising clinical applications, and discuss current challenges MRE faces in modelling, signal processing and engineering.
