Synopsis:
Katie will give an overview of the NC3Rs and its role as a research funder. The NC3Rs offer a range of funding schemes to support projects, infrastructure, and training and career development. They also fund public engagement and the commercialisation of 3Rs technologies through the CRACK IT programme. These schemes are appropriate for a range of people from PhD students to senior PIs and animal care staff.
Katie will also provide top tips and advice on how to submit a competitive grant application to the NC3Rs. She will cover the remit of NC3Rs funding, what makes a strong NC3Rs application and how to demonstrate excellent science and excellent 3Rs impact.
