This talk will present the transitions needed for a net zero future and how this is being addressed in an industrial context for chemicals and fuels. In addition to the technical challenges and solutions, an overview of the commercial approach will be given to give an appreciation of how ideas are turned into reality. Finally, the future challenges will be presented and how this is being addressed using tools such as Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning within the Industry 4.0 era.
There will be pizza afterwards at the crush area outside EM2.44.
