Biologically inspired manufacturing: a blueprint for research

The public and scientific communities always feel a strong connection when manufacturing techniques inspired from nature find their way into new products and processes. This talk will present examples inspired from nature and describe a methodology on how to research this deep connection beyond biomimicry and biomimetism.
Besides presenting some of the personal work carried by his group, Marc Desmulliez will propose a blueprint on how to study this field still largely untrodden.
