There is a worldwide shortage of organs. 3D organ printing technology has attracted much attention as one of the promising approaches to regenerate organ without donation. However the current methods of 3D bioprinting technology is limited to print precise 3d structures with highly viable cells. In particularly, it is difficult to produce 3d structures with sufficient mechanical rigidity to support its own weight, while keeping high cell viability and biological functions. In this talk we will introduce our new approach to 3D print complex hydrogel structures.
