How to turn your research in to a millionaire business: what I learnt so far about commercialisation.

In the past few months we took our first steps in the commercialisation of a product designed during my PhD. We took part in a few courses organised by Converge, Biocity and are now in phase 1 for the HGSP program by Scottish enterprise. In this talk I'm sharing what I learnt, focusing on the drastic change in point of view between academic and commercial setting. The talk gives some tips to researchers wanting to develop a product and hopefully can stimulate a different approach to look at any research from multiple point of views.
