What’s the point of super-resolution optical imaging?

In this talk I’ll show some important pitfalls that can occur when low resolution images are analysed that can lead to incorrect conclusions. I will show examples from my own research field of regulated secretion and discuss how new techniques and analyses can provide important data about the molecular undper-pinnings of cell biology and pathology.
