Synopsis:

FlexBio, based in the John Coulson Building, is a facility that focuses on de-risking the scale-up of bioprocesses using equipment at semi-pilot scale. Come along to this seminar to learn about how I use this equipment to help industries and academic groups to optimise and scale-up their processes. I mainly work with companies who are focused on developing processes to improve the bio-economy. My main area of expertise is finding value in products that are otherwise seen as waste, often termed ‘co-products’ (I’m particularly well known around the department for previously working on several smelly co-products).
