Diboron systems provide potentially powerful methods for the rapid synthesis of heavily functionalised organic molecules. However, chemoselective control of these systems can be difficult. This talk will focus on three studies of chemoselective manipulation of diboron systems -
(1) using two boron compounds to make a single new boron compound, (2) using two boron compounds to make a new non-boron compound, and (3) using two boron compounds to make a new diboron compound.
